Bridge Street Half Marathon Pace Teams
The Bridge Street Town Centere Half Marathon is pleased to announce there will be 7 pace groups to not only help you achieve your goals, but also have fun during the race. The pace groups are experienced runners that know how to hold a steady pace and run even mile splits. This means that every mile will be run at approximately the same pace. Exceptions to this will be in the beginning of the race due getting through the crowd at race start.
Participation to run with the pace teams is FREE to all participants and no registration is necessary. You should choose a pace that reflects your training and ability level that allows you to run at a comfortable pace throughout the half marathon. If you can’t decide between two paces (for example 1:45 and 2:00), it is recommended that you start with the slower pace as you can always pick it up later in the race.

To meet up with your pace group on April 9th, look for the pacer signs with the finishing times printed on them being held up in the starting line area. There will be two pace signs per group and pacers will be wearing a designated pacer shirts. Try to meet up with your pace group at least 15 minutes before the start of the race.
We want you to run your own race. If you feel great on race day, and you want to go ahead and catch the next group, we’ll cheer you on. If it’s not your day, slow down and wait for the pace group behind you. And if you want to just fall in and match strides with your pace group leader, we are sure to appreciate the company!
